With your collaboration we can improve future events, and opportunity to connect with current and new members. 

OPEN Committee Positions

​Professional Development Chair
  • Responsible for providing opportunities and resources to SHPE OC members, students and professionals, for the advancement of an individual and their profession.

marketing Chair
  • Responsible for design and advertisement of SHPE OC flyers, posters, and other additional promotional material for SHPE OC events through social media
  • Responsible for managing SHPE OC’s social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook Page, Facebook Group)

Social Chair
  • Coordinate with Marketing Chair to promote social events.
  • ​Coordinate with member and gain interest in fun social activities to promote our values and bring the general body and new members together. Coordinate at least 4 social events throughout the year.
  • Coordinate with other chapters to allow collaboration and avoid overlap of social events with other Greater LA chapters.
